About

I'm Tim DeHerrera (nrdxp). I write software, design protocols, and think too much about first principles.

I spent over a decade in free software, mostly in the Nix and Rust ecosystems. I co-founded the Ekala Project and still support it. I also watched the communities I believed in get hollowed out by corporate capture and political games. I still think free software is essential, but good intentions alone won't protect it.

That's what led me to found Axiosophic Systems. The work there is focused on content-addressed package distribution, self-sovereign identity protocols, and structured rulesets for agentic AI. Different problems, same conviction: things don't hold together by accident.

The blog is where I think out loud.
